Forever and Always!! love album with TECS papers

Hello my dear lovely folks , Shreya here!!

Today I am here to share my excitement with you regarding working with the amazingly launched TECS ( The Element Craft Studio) papers.

Firstly I would like to thank Rakhi Mittal - owner of TECS to provide me with such a great opportunity to design for their company.

This being my FIRST guest designer post is extremely special and so here I am with this beautifully handcrafted wedding album.

For designing this project I have used " Fiore Di Ala" pattern paper pack from TECS- a perfect collection to narrate the story of love. Embellishments like charms,  die cuts and flowers were used to add to its beauty.

Also to give an elegant touch Paper Tole technique and different interactive pocket concepts were used by me.

Multipurpose Wooden Crate

Hi dearies, Rakhi here introducing our blog coordinator---Our dear Anushree Vaish, who is going to share her first project with you all---

Hi friends, Anushree here--
Today I am so glad to present my first CT post for The Elements Craft Studio.I would definitely like to thank Rakhi Mittal di for giving me this opportunity and trusting my work.

My first creation for TECS is this beautiful multipurpose crate.I simply loved making this crate.Let me first share some pictures of the crate.

This crate as a raw piece I got from TECS. After that I applied some heavy white Gesso on the whole of the surface. Then I used some chalk paints to add color to the crate. The edges have been rubbed with Prima waxes.

I have used some pattern paper on the middle piece of the crate along with some stamping with Black archival inks.

Lastly I attached jute cord to the handle to give it more classy look.

Sharing few more pics from different angles.

The crate has six compartments and is good enough to hold even the heaviest of the articles. We can use it for keeping bottles or can also use it as desk organizer keeping kids stationary organised.

The crate is from The Elements Craft studio. There are many more beautiful products surely to be checked on TECS page. For all readers convenience I am adding TECS Facebook page link, you can simply click the link and explore lovely collection of Mdf and wooden articles. Here is the link

TECS has recently launched some beautiful pattern papers definitely not to be missed at all...Do check those as well .

Happy Crafting!!

Secret Garden

Hi all, Ritika Sidana here today as Guest designer for The Element Craft Studio for sharing my new creation---

For a long time I was thinking of making a name plate for my home . Somehow me and my husband were never on same page on design .
Long time back saw a shadow box name plate on Facebook ( sincere apologies I have forgotten whose work it was) loved the idea of shadow box as nameplate and this simply stuck in my mind.
Now I have made my own version of nameplate shadow box by using supplies from The Element Craft Studio, and I loved it totally so thought to share with you all...

So the process of designing started .....
I chose garden as my inspiration as I love the colorfulness and mossy look of a garden . And off-course, thanks to Rakhi as my idea on paper was brought to life. Her encouragement and enthusiasm to my design gave me the confidence.

Finally it's ready but again a disagreement ... I want to hang it outside and my husband says chori ho jayegi....no way hang it in drawing room so make another for outside....

Here is the procedure how i made it---First I painted raw shadowbox took from Rakhi in patina colors and then decided layout for each and every partition---Now i glued paper on back and then I started placing my embellishments after coloring them, all provided by The Element Craft Studio as per my layout draft...

I created a wall fountain entirely done by my own and with wooden cutouts n Lion from The Element Craft Studio  and using my own collection of stones, flowers and moss.....Then I created a border on rim of box in matching of garden theme and rest result is in front of you all....

I hope, you all would like it, please share your views.....

Fly High Mixed media layout

Hello my crafty friends.........

Before I start with the project,Wishing you all a very Happy New Year!!!!!!

So today I am sharing my first mixed media layout with a small tutorial....hope you all enjoy it. So lets begin.

I first selected a picture that I wanted to use as my focal point, next step was to choose a pattern paper that cordinated with the picture which was going to be my canvas.
I covered the pattern paper with a coat of modpodge to protect the paper from crumpling from all the sprays that i would be using.

To create the background i used a few sprays drying them in between till I was satisfied with the color.

Now to create a little texture i stuck a liitle coconut fibre and started alligining my focal point and all the other chipboard and the flower embelishments to complete my layout.Added a piece of wood with a hand written sentiment.*have painted my chippies to match my other focal point and the other embelishments.finally added some paint splatters to finish the layout.

So here comes the pictures................

List of the materials used
1. All the chipboard embelishments - The Element Craft Studio
2. Color splash & coconut fibre
3. The rest of the materials like pollens ,die cut leaves ,wooden piece for the sentiment and all the little embelishments from my stash.

Thank You  for stopping by.....
Happy Crafting!!!
